Failing for a Purpose

Failing for a Purpose

We weave our failures, yearning to seize greatness, navigating through trauma and tragedy, all in the relentless pursuit of triumph.

Yet, what occurs when triumph appears elusive? What happens when the success you strive for remains persistently out of reach?

Here I am, seated as a writer whose words have occasionally fallen short, an athlete who couldn’t entirely grasp his potential—a forty-year-old still in quest of purpose, left with a spark in hopes of a flame.

Am I a masochist for life’s trials? Or am I eternally fated to fall short? For the world is not  solely built upon the shoulder of victors.
